5. Prices and payment

5.1. The prices that apply to Website purchases are those given on the Website. Prices are given in Swedish krona and include VAT. There will be no additional costs to you over the price shown at the “checkout”. You will however need to show a valid Camping Card Europe when checking in with a caravan, motorhome or tent at any of our camping sites.

5.2. The only payment methods accepted by Liseberg are those you can select at the “checkout”.

5.3. If you choose to buy Park Products (see the definition of Park Products in section 6.1 below) from the Website, you will be offered an additional method of payment by invoice. Note that payment by invoice is only offered for the purchase of Park Products.

5.4. The following applies if you choose the invoice option to pay for Park Products:

Collector invoice

We offer invoicing and monthly payment in partnership with Collector Bank AB. When you choose to pay by invoice your goods will be sent to your home address before you pay. You can then choose to pay the full amount at one time or spread the payment into smaller amounts. Invoices are due for payment within 30 days. A transaction charge of SEK 19 will be added.

When you choose to pay by invoice or monthly payment you can only place orders for delivery to your registered home address, and you must be at least 18 years old at the time of ordering. When you receive the invoice you can choose to spread payments over a period of up to 36 months by paying the minimum amount given on the invoice. Interest at a rate of 19.2 percent per year is charged on monthly payments.

A minor credit check is carried out, and in some cases a credit report is obtained. Delayed or missed payments will incur a delayed payment charge and penalty interest.

Collector account

We offer monthly payment by account, in partnership with Collector Bank AB. When you choose this method of payment your goods will be sent to your home address before you pay. All your purchases in any one month are combined on an invoice that is sent by post to your registered home address the following month. Payment can then be spread over 36 months. A transaction charge of SEK 29 will be added. When you choose monthly payment you can only place orders for delivery to your registered home address, and you must be at least 18 years old at the time of ordering.

When you receive the invoice the minimum amount you need to pay is shown on the invoice. Interest is charged at a rate of 19.2 percent per year. The monthly payment amount is always 1/36 of the total amount plus interest and charges, but the minimum amount is SEK 50. If you wish to settle your debt, you can always pay the total amount stated on the invoice.

A minor credit check is carried out, and in some cases a credit report is obtained. Delayed or missed payments will incur a delayed payment charge and penalty interest.

6. Park Products

6.1. The vouchers you buy for use in Liseberg park are called “Park Products” by Liseberg. The Liseberg Pass, Ride Pass Maxi, Admission Ticket, and Pentathlon are all examples of Park Products. The terms given in section 6 only apply to purchases of Park Products.

6.2. After you have made your purchase you will receive an order confirmation that contains a PDF file. If you chose to receive your Park Products by text message (SMS) you will receive them this way instead of a PDF file. You can collect your Park Products at any of the ticket offices at Liseberg by showing your text message or printed PDF. Liseberg reserves the right to ask you to show valid ID before handing over Park Products.

6.3. The “Pentathlon After Work” and “Pentathlon Full Evening” Park Products can be collected from Guest Services, which is to the left of the main entrance to Liseberg park.

6.4. If you have deleted your text message or lost your printed PDF you can collect purchased Park Products from Guest Services near the main entrance to Liseberg park by giving your order number and the e-mail address given for the purchase.

6.5. Park Products are only valid on the terms given in the description of each product. Note that Park Products are valid for a specific year and Liseberg does not give refunds for Park Products that have not been collected or used during the applicable year. An Express Pass that you receive when you buy an All-in-One ticket is only valid on the day for which it was purchased.

6.6. By making a purchase you agree to follow the current park rules for Liseberg and the instructions of Liseberg staff. If you fail to do so Liseberg may refuse to fulfil the agreement. This means that you will have to leave Liseberg park and your Park Products will be cancelled. You will not be entitled to compensation for loss of value. If a Park Product is some type of seasonal product, Liseberg will inform you in writing that the Park Product has been cancelled, assuming that Liseberg has received your contact details.

6.7. Liseberg guarantees that the service linked to the purchased Park Product will be delivered according to the product description. Liseberg does not give any guarantee concerning queues or the operation of rides, attractions and games, since these are largely beyond the control of Liseberg. Liseberg would also like to make it clear that Park Products can only be used during the opening times of Liseberg park. Park Products that entitle you to ride on Liseberg’s rides and attractions are covered by the conditions stated in Liseberg’s height restrictions and our current safety rules.

6.8. Park Products may only be purchased for personal use. This means that you may not sell on Park Products or offer Park Products in competitions or the like without written consent from Liseberg. Liseberg reserves the right to confiscate and destroy Park Products that are resold or attempted to be resold at a higher price than the actual purchase price. If Park Products are confiscated for the above reason Liseberg will not refund any distribution or delivery charge.

7. Liseberg cabins and camping

7.1. The Liseberg campsites (“the Campsites”) comprise Lisebergsbyn and Liseberg’s camping Askim Strand. The terms given in section 7 only apply to purchases of accommodation at the Campsites.

7.2. The Campsites have a minimum age limit of 18, which means that people under the age of 18 can only stay at the Campsites if accompanied by an adult.

7.3. A booking charge and cancellation protection are included in the purchase of accommodation from the Website. Payment for accommodation at the Campsites is made at the time of purchase. The right of withdrawal described in section 9 does not apply to purchases of accommodation. The amount paid will be refunded in full if you cancel your booking at least three days before the arrival date. No refund will be given if you cancel your booking less than three days before the arrival date.'

7.4. If you are unable to use your purchased accommodation for any of the reasons given below, Liseberg will refund the full price even if you cancel your booking less than three days before the arrival date:

  • You or any of your co-travellers suffers serious illness, a serious accident or death.
  • A close relative of yours or any of your co-travellers suffers serious illness, a serious accident or death.
  • Something serious happens that is beyond your control and you could not foresee at the time of purchase, which makes it unreasonable to expect that you should fulfil your purchase, such as a major fire or flood in your home.

Liseberg has the right to require evidence that backs up the above events before making a refund.

7.5. If a refund is justified, Liseberg will pay back the amount you paid to Liseberg. The refund will be made without unnecessary delay, and no later than 14 days from the date it is determined that you are entitled to a refund. If you do not provide account details a payment will be sent out for redemption from a bank (bank charges may apply).

7.6. You will be charged SEK 100 for each change made to an accommodation purchase.

7.7. If you or anyone in your company breaks the rules of the relevant Campsites, Liseberg has the right to immediately expel you and your company from the Campsites. You will then lose your right to use the purchased accommodation or get a refund for what you have paid.

7.8. Cabins must be cleaned in accordance with the cleaning list that is provided on arrival. If a cabin is not cleaned according to the cleaning list, Liseberg will carry out cleaning at a cost of SEK 1,275 per cabin. This cost will be invoiced to you. Rooms/cabins must always be left in good order regardless of whether you have paid for cleaning or not.

7.9. If you or anyone in your company damages anything in your accommodation or on the relevant Campsite the cost will be invoiced to you.

7.10. Admission tickets and ride passes that are purchased at the same time as accommodation at the Campsites can be collected from the applicable Campsite. The applicable terms for these Park Products are given in section 6 above.

7.11. A valid camping card (Camping Key Europe) is required in order to check in tents, caravans or motorhomes.

8. Event Tickets

8.1. Liseberg organises regular events at its event premises: Rondo, Liseberg Theatre and Lisebergshallen. Section 8 only applies to the purchase of tickets (“Event Tickets”) for such events (“the Event”). These terms apply regardless of whether you buy tickets direct from Liseberg or through an agent.

8.2. Event Tickets are non-transferrable and are only valid for the individuals whose names were given at purchase and are printed on the Event Tickets. Event Tickets are therefore only valid in combination with valid ID.

8.3. When you buy Event Tickets you have a right to change your mind about your purchase as explained in section 9 below.

8.4. You should be aware that the safety of the public is always the highest priority for Liseberg. You therefore agree to follow the instructions of Liseberg’s staff at all times. You also agree that during the Event you will not:

  • Take alcoholic drinks into the Event
  • Act in a clearly intoxicated manner
  • Violate laws or local regulations.
  • Disturb public order or oppose the efforts of Liseberg or the police to maintain order, or
  • Break any agreement you have entered with Liseberg.
  • If you fail to do so Liseberg may refuse to fulfil the agreement. This means that you would have to leave the Event and your Event Tickets would be cancelled. You will not be entitled to compensation for loss of value.

8.5. If the Event is cancelled due to illness or other circumstances beyond Liseberg’s control, Liseberg will offer you new Event Tickets for another date. If Liseberg is unable to offer new Event Tickets, Liseberg will instead refund the entire amount you paid to Liseberg for your Event Tickets.

8.6. Event Tickets may not be sold or offered in competitions or the like without written consent from Liseberg. Liseberg reserves the right to confiscate and destroy Event Tickets that are resold or attempted to be resold at a higher price than the actual purchase price. If Event Tickets are confiscated for the above reason Liseberg will not refund any distribution or delivery charge.

9. Right of withdrawal

9.1. You have the right to cancel a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. These 14 days are known as the “Cooling-off Period”. The Cooling-off Period starts on the date you receive confirmation of your order from Liseberg.

9.2. To exercise your right of withdrawal you need to send a message to Liseberg about your decision to cancel the agreement. This can be done by post or e-mail, using the contact details given in section 2 above. Liseberg recommends that you use its withdrawal form.

9.3. To exercise your right of withdrawal in time, all you need to do is inform us that you intend to exercise the right of withdrawal before the Cooling-off Period has run out.

9.4. If you exercise your right of withdrawal Liseberg will pay back the amount you paid to Liseberg. The refund will be made without unnecessary delay, and no later than 14 days from the date that Liseberg is informed about your decision to withdraw from the agreement. Liseberg will use the same method of payment as you used, unless you explicitly agree otherwise with Liseberg. If you do not provide account details a payment will be sent out for redemption from a bank (bank charges may apply).

9.5. The right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases of accommodation, Event Tickets or other purchases that are exempt from the right of withdrawal under chapter 2, section 11 of the Act (2005: 59) on Distance Contracts and Off-Premises Contracts.

10. Complaints

10.1. If you feel that your purchase from Liseberg does not meet your expectations, we recommend that you first contact Guest Services in Liseberg park. The easiest way to reach Guest Services is to use the e-mail address given in section 2 above. For complaints about accommodation at any of the Campsites we recommended that you first contact reception at the relevant Campsite.

10.2. Complaints must be made within two months of the date that you realised, or should have realised, that your purchase from Liseberg did not meet your expectations. Complaints about accommodation at any of the Campsites should always be made as soon as possible after the issue is discovered so that Liseberg has an opportunity to rectify the problem. If a complaint is not made within two months you lose your right to complain.

10.3. If you do not feel that Liseberg has satisfied your requirements you have the right to report the matter to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN). The National Board for Consumer Disputes carries out impartial investigations of disputes between consumers and companies. Information on how to report a matter to the National Board for Consumer Disputes can be found at www.arn.se

11. Exemptions

11.1. Neither you nor Liseberg is responsible for failure to complete the agreement if this is due to an exemption that the counter party is informed about without delay. An exemption is a general labour dispute, war, fire, lightning strike, change of authority, terrorist attack, technical issues or similar circumstance that makes fulfilment of the agreement considerably more difficult and which the party could not reasonably foresee or overcome. If a supplier to Liseberg is affected by such circumstances this is also considered an exemption for Liseberg. An exemption frees the party affected from claims for damages and other consequences.

12. Invalidity

12.1. If a court, authority or arbitration body finds that any provision in the Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the provision in question and all other provisions shall be valid and enforceable to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Commercial photography

13.1. Photography and video recording for commercial purposes in Liseberg park or on the Campsites are only permitted with consent from Liseberg. To obtain such consent please contact Liseberg at [email protected]. Liseberg may claim compensation for any commercial photography or video recording that is carried out without such consent.
