He sailed round the world and travelled around South America almost a hundred years before the word backpacker had even been coined. He was an old-time romantic and early environmentalist. He was – and still is – a source of inspiration whose work continues to attract new interpreters. But he was also much more than this. In Evert Taube’s World we hope to reveal the familiar and less well-known sides of our national poet.
